Where’s the Blog Gone?

Over the years I blogged a lot of stuff about my work in Second Life along with my hobbies and opinions. The internet being a place where one can express themselves and connect with others on platforms designed to help reach likeminded people and form communities.  Blogging became a handy way to info dump and share with those communities. 

In recent years though I’ve struggled to maintain my wordpress blog, instead relying on newer social media platforms such as Discord and Twitter. I could just keep the archive of posts online but doing so costs money and makes no sense since no one really visits my old posts. My view of the internet has also changed, it’s not as welcoming and can be down right terrifying now.

So i decided to close the blog and resign it to the past. Instead I’ll continue to record our adventures in Second Life, Vrchat and other Virtual Worlds and post them on youtube or various twitter alternatives.
